Takeittothelimits became the fifth winning favourite at Bellewstown this evening, as she rounded off proceedings with an easy success in the McLoughlin Oil Flat Race.

After winning on her debut at Limerick last month, the daughter of Stowaway was then purchased by JP McManus (completing a double on the card having earlier won with Tesseract .

Trained by Gordon Elliott and ridden by Luke McGuinness, she was sent off the 4/5 favourite (was briefly available at 13/8 last night) for this two mile one contest.

After racing keenly in fourth, she improved to lead with two furlongs to race, going on to score easily by four lengths. Winsome Bucks (11/2) finished second under Declan Queally for Tom Hogan, while Triolet (9/1 to 13/2) was three lengths back in third.

Gordon Elliott said afterwards: "She's a nice little filly, she's not over-big.

"She could run on the flat at some stage, she's quick. She did it well as she was keen the whole way.

"She's won two bumpers now so she could jump a hurdle sooner rather than later."
