Tamburlaine set for return Sagitta 2000 Guineas runner-up Tamburlaine is set to return to action this weekend.Richard Hannon`s colt has disappointed twice since being beaten one and a quarter lengths by Golan at Newmarket, finishing unplaced in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh and in the St James`s Palace Stakes. The son of Royal Academy, who is at his best on a fast surface, has not been seen out since Royal Ascot but after working well on the gallops this morning Tamburlaine is on course to reappear at either Newbury or Deauville.'He worked really well this morning,' the trainer`s son Richard told the Racing Channel. 'He goes for the Jacques Le Marois (on Sunday) or the Hungerford depending on what the ground is like at Deauville.'He`s every bit the horse he used to be.'He`s been quite an unlucky horse. He was unlucky to bump into Golan in the 2000 Guineas and he then went to Ireland and they came up the stands` side.'He hasn`t had the best of luck but now he`s in really good form.'He`s a hundredweight heavier than he was going into Ireland and Ascot.'Out of all the races he`s gone into this year, I think he`s in the best form. He should run a good race.'
