Tapestry added to Arc field Tapestry is the sole supplementary entry for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, leaving a field of 20 for the Longchamp feature. The three-year-old, who registered a shock success over Taghrooda in the Yorkshire Oaks, emerged a surprise contender on Wednesday and connections have duly stumped up the 120,000-euro fee to put Aidan O'Brien's charge into the mile-and-a-half showpiece. She is expected to be ridden by Ryan Moore, with Joseph O'Brien aboard Chicquita and Frankie Dettori on Ruler Of The World, who is part-owned by Al Shaqab. The John Gosden-trained Taghrooda is on course to renew rivalry with Tapestry in Paris, with all of the other leading hopes, including Ectot, Avenir Certain and the Japanese trio of Harp Star, Gold Ship and Just A Way, all standing their ground. The final declaration stage for the race is on Friday morning.
