Tatianna (15/2) finished strongly to claim the Ampion Electrical Testing Nursery Handicap by two and a quarter lengths.

Ellie Gartlan, having her first racecourse ride, sent Bit Of A Buzz into the lead racing to the final quarter of a mile and the Showcasing colt attempted to make the best way home.

Tatianna was beginning to hit top stride, though, and delivered her challenge in the final furlong. She got to grips with Bit Of A Buzz (7/2) in the closing stages and won going away for owner/trainer Josh Halley.

Jack Cleary said: "She was a bit caught for toe early on but, in fairness, she was game to the line.

"I was just chasing her up a bit, but she can be like that. When she got there, she did it well in the end.

"She's not overly big, but she tries very hard.

"It is good ground, lovely ground."

This was Tatianna's fourth start with a best previous finish of third on debut at Cork on soft ground.
