Ten in Hardwicke contention Dartmouth tops a field of 10 in the Hardwicke Stakes on the final day of Royal Ascot on Saturday. Owned by The Queen, Dartmouth has won both of his outings this term and will be joined in the line-up by fellow Sir Michael Stoute inmate Exosphere, who struck on his return at Newmarket, as their handler bids to claim the race for a third successive year. Last year's St Leger winner Simple Verse looks to build on two prep runs so far this term for Ralph Beckett, with Aidan O'Brien relying upon globetrotting dual Group One winner Highland Reel. Eagle Top, runner-up in last season's King George, is also in contention for the John Gosden team. Willie Mullins fields Wicklow Brave to make it a two-pronged Irish challenge, while Almodovar, Astronereus, Mount Logan and Beautiful Romance complete the field.
