Teofilo Favourite For Dewhurst

Teofilo heads a list of 15 two year olds that are due to go to post for Saturdays Darley Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.

Jim Bolger's exceptional youngster, who is unbeaten in four starts this season, heads William Hill's betting for the seven furlong contest at 6-4 with Aidan O'Brien's Holy Roman Emperor their 9-4 second favourite. Strategic Prince is the Leeds firm's third in at 7-1 with the talented Hamoody rated a 9-1 shot.

Tony Kenny of William Hill added: 'There is still a divided school of thought, as to who is the better horse, but there is no getting away from the fact that Teofilo and Holy Roman Emperor are two of the best two year olds in the World and we have a fantastic race in prospect.' He continued 'At this time Teofilo heads both our Vodafone Derby and our Stan James 2000 guineas betting, but the Dewhurst should give us the definative answer as to who will be the winter favourite for the two colts classics next season'
