Teologia continues on a sharp upward curve and completed a course hat-trick at Down Royal with an impressive victory in the featured Ampion Electrical Testing And Solar Experts Fillies & Mares Handicap.

The Joseph O’Brien-trained daughter of Teofilo was sent off the 4/7 favourite against just four rivals and struck the front well over a furlong out.

She soon asserted under Dylan Browne McMonagle and kept on really well for an easy five and a half lengths verdict over Beauparc La Dame Blanche was a further two and three-quarter lengths back in third.

Stable representative Mick Halford said, “She is indeed (going from strength to strength); she has shown her liking for Down Royal.

"She is improving and she is very honest, tries hard, and Joseph has just placed her really well with those races.

"Hopefully, she will keep progressing and I'm sure along the line somewhere she will go and try for a bit of black type. That would be the ultimate aim as they progress.

"When they are winning comfortably like that, there's always room for improvement if they keep going on.

"She stayed it (1m 5f) well, she relaxes lovely and gives herself every chance.”
