Testing conditions this weekend

It looks set to be testing conditions for the bank holiday weekend action with each of the tracks that race currently soft or heavy.

Limerick hold a two-day meeting on Saturday and Sunday and the ground is now heavy (previously heavy, soft in places) after 5mm of rain overnight.

Down Royal race on Saturday and the ground there is soft, heavy in places.

There is action at Wexford on Sunday and the going there is heavy, soft to heavy in places after 4mm of rain overnight.

That is a slight ease having previously been soft to heavy, heavy in places.

The forecast is for sunshine and showers over the weekend.

Navan hold the bank holiday meeting on Monday. The chase course is now soft to heavy, heavy in places while the hurdle track is soft, soft to heavy in places.
