Testing ground at Navan The recent wet spell has had a significant impact on the going for tomorrow's all Flat meeting at Navan, and the ground at the Co. Meath track is currently described as soft to heavy. The first on an eight-race card gets underway at 1.35pm, and the forecast is for further showers today with drier weather expected tomorrow. Surprisingly the going at Thurles ahead of their meeting on Thursday is described as good, good to firm in places, this afternoon. Looking ahead to the weekend, the going at Wexford is currently good to yielding while Galway is yielding to soft (yielding in places). The western track had 8mm of rain overnight.
