The going looks sure to be testing at Tramore this afternoon following a further 12mm of rain at the south-eastern seaside venue, where the first on a seven-race National Hunt card gets underway at 12.30pm.
The ground on the hurdle course is now heavy (soft in places) while the chase track is described as soft (heavy in places).
Local trainer Henry de Bromhead will seek to add to his good record at the track with Bulldoze in the opening maiden hurdle and Kings Keeper in the bumper, while the powerhouse yards of Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott are also well represented.
The forecast is to be dry during racing.
Punchestown plays host to a rescheduled meeting tomorrow afternoon with a six-race card beginning at 12.25, while Flat enthusiasts are catered for at Dundalk with the first of eight races commencing at 4pm.
