The Enabler looked a potentially exciting prospect when making every yard of the running under Harry Swan to record an impressive success in the Listed BetVictor Future Champions INH Flat Race at Navan.

Sent straight into the lead from flag fall, the Gordon Elliott trained four-year-old settled in front and travelled strongly throughout.

Kicking clear over three furlongs from home, only Fleur In The Park offered any form of challenge but that too, was short lived as the Andrew Slattery trained gelding had nothing to give from two out.

At the finish, The Enabler had four lengths to spare over Fleur In The Park, with a further 11 lengths back to the third horse, Springt De La Mare

Gordon Elliott said: “He's a nice horse. We knew he'd improved, he's improving the whole time, and I'd say he's a proper horse.

“We won't do too much more this year, maybe go to Naas (for a winners bumper on February 25th). We've all the options for him, he looks very good. I wouldn't be thinking of going to Cheltenham.”
