Think different class says Prendergast

Kevin Prendergast has admitted Termagant is up against it in the Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh tomorrow.

The lightly-raced filly is one of five to take on Australian star So You Think on his first start for Ballydoyle and Prendergast is not holding out much hope of a shock.

Termagant returned to action with a fine effort in the Park Express Stakes and the former Moyglare Stakes winner looks the biggest threat to the likely short-priced favourite in the Group Three contest.

"With the Australian horse I'd say we are just there to look," said Prendergast.

"He's probably one of the best to come up from the southern hemisphere in our time.

"Hopefully we can run into a place."

Prendergast also saddles Seeharn in the earlier Group 3, the Athasi Stakes, and is hopeful of a big run.

A dual winner last season the daughter of Pivotal was fifth in the guineas trial at Leopardstown on her return this season.

"She's working very well and hopefully gets a bit more black-type," added the Curragh handler.
