Racing prominently from the off, he showed an admirable attitude to hold off Danielle's Journey by a head. He has a date at the sales later this week, and his trainer hopes he can stay in the yard. Thornton said: "He looks a nice horse, good and tough. "He did it the hard way from the front in what is always a good race. "He's in the sales at Cheltenham on Friday, so we'll see what happens there. "It's big news for a small yard like ours, but I'd still love to keep him and run him round somewhere like Navan."
