Three Irish remain in Coronation field

Memory heads 14 fillies entered in the Group One Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday.

The daughter of Danehill Dancer was a winner at the Royal meeting 12 months ago in the Albany Stakes and will be looking to bounce back from her display in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket where she dwelt badly in the stalls before finishing tailed off.

Brian Meehan's Theyskens' Theory and Musidora Stakes one-two Joviality and Barefoot Lady could also line up.

Three Irish trained fillies remain in the field with Aidan O'Brien's Newmarket 1000 Guineas second Together, Wild Wind also from Ballydoyle and Jim Bolger's Claiomh Solais, who finished fourth in the Irish 1000 Guineas, all still engaged.

Maqaasid who finished third in the Newmarket 1000 Guineas could also make the line-up while More Than Real is a fascinating contender for Todd Pletcher from the USA.
