Thurles goes ahead This afternoon's meeting at Thurles will go ahead after the course passed an inspection this morning. The ground remains heavy after 4mm of rain overnight at the course. The first is due off at 2.05pm today and the card consists of six hurdle races and a bumper. Officials also report the chase course heavy ahead of tomorrow's card. The forecast is for the weather to remain unsettled.
