The going is good at Thurles ahead of declarations this morning for Thursday's card.

The course has been forced to cancel three meetings in recent months due to unseasonably dry ground but are set to get their season underway now.

Officials are monitoring the situation regarding low temperatures and frost but are optimistic about racing.

They've had 30mm of rain since entries last Thursday.
