Thurles ground changes slightly Thurles have issued a slight change of going ahead of this afternoon's meeting at the Tipperary track. The ground is now described as soft, soft to heavy in places having been soft to heavy at declaration. The Grade 2 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle is the feature event on a seven race card which kicks off at 2.25pm. Leopardstown race on Sunday and the ground there remains soft, yielding to soft in places. The Dublin track will hold their annual pre-Cheltenham gallops after racing.
