Thyne Again rerouted to Leopardstown Liam Burke will aim Thyne Again at the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting after being forced to miss the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase due to a dirty scope. The seven-year-old finished fourth behind Tidal Bay in the Arkle Trophy at Cheltenham in March and made the perfect start to the current campaign with a 20-length success over two and a half miles at Naas. Burke had hoped to use Tuesday's Grade One as a fact-finding mission regarding the gelding's best trip, but a step up will have to be put on hold for the time being. 'We had hoped to run in the John Durkan and then we were going to decide whether to step him up to three miles for the Lexus Chase at Christmas or go back to two miles and a furlong,' said the trainer. 'After what has happened, I think we will have to go for the shorter race as I don't want to step him up to three miles in a race like the Lexus just yet.' 'I'm really pleased with him now. He worked this morning and seems to be back to his old self, so we will just have to get him ready for Christmas. I do want to step him up to three miles sometime but we will just have to wait.'
