Timmons Fractures Wrist in Navan Tumble Jockey Chris Timmons suffered a fractured wrist when his mount Dingalingaling slipped on landing at the second flight of hurdles in the opening race at Navan on Saturday. Timmons who is attached to the Gordon Elliott yard was having his first ride on the track since returning from a successful stint in France. "I rode for Gui Cherel in France for six months and really enjoyed the experience and partnered ten winners over there," said Timmons. "It's awful for this to happen on my first ride back at home, but hopefully I won't be out too long. I have to take my x-rays to Dr. Paddy Kenny tomorrow and I will know then whether or not I require surgery."
