Today's going update

Widespread rain has caused an ease in the ground at this afternoon's two meetings in Cork and Roscommon.

Cork Racecourse in Mallow has seen 9mm of rain, which has stopped after mid-day. The going is changed slightly to good, good to firm in places (on the round course) while the sprint track is good, good to yielding in places.

The Group 3 Kerry Group Noblesse Stakes is the feature on an all Flat seven race card beginning at 2.35pm.

Roscommon, which stages the first leg of a two day meeting, is now good to yielding (Flat) and good on the National Hunt course.

The forecast is for heavy rain spreading to all areas today, with tomorrow expected to be generally dry. The first of eight races on a mixed card at the mid-western venue gets underway at 2.10pm.
