Together impresses in Silver Flash Stakes Johnny Murtagh and Aidan O’Brien completed a double this evening when Together took the feature event, the Silver Flash Group 3 Stakes in good style. Murtagh who was never too far off the pace hit the front under two furlongs out. The 9/10 favourite dug deep for Murtagh close home to hold off Laughing Lashes by a length. Winning jockey Murtagh stated: “She’s going the right way, she’s a very nice solid sort of filly.” “She was very green the first day but she stepped up well today. She doesn’t do a whole lot in front.” O’Brien and Murtagh were on the score sheet earlier when taking the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden with Sherwood Forest. Boylesports have shortened Together from 20/1 to 14/1 for the 1000 Guineas.
