Miracle jockey Brian Toomey has said that he hopes to ride Kings Grey at the Galway Races on August 2nd.

Speaking with Brendan O'Connor on RTE Radio 1 this morning, the Limerick man described his comeback ride aboard Kings Grey at Southwell as an "off-day" for his mount. The three to one on chance pulled up on that occasion.

The Phil Kirby-trained Kings Grey may have the Lord Hemphill Memorial Handicap Chase over two and half miles on his agenda. The At The Races Chase over two and three quarter miles might be an alternative on the same card.

Toomey also revealed that he hopes to have his next ride at Uttoxeter next Friday.
