Toomey taken to hospital Brian Toomey had to be taken to hospital in Dundee after suffering a heavy fall at Perth. The arrival of an air ambulance on the track following his accident when Solway Dandy came down at the third-last flight of the Book Now For 2014 Perth Festival Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle caused a delay of almost half an hour to proceedings. In the end, though, it was decided that the air ambulance would not be used and Toomey was transported from the racecourse by road. "He has obviously been injured and has been taken to Dundee hospital - not by air ambulance in the end. That's all we know at the moment," said Perth clerk of the course Harriet Graham.
