Top Notch set for Kelso run Top Notch is set to tackle the Timeform Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso on February 18. Last season's Triumph Hurdle runner-up has failed to win in three starts this season but two of those outings were thoroughly credible efforts. On his seasonal debut he pushed Irving close in a valuable race at Haydock, before he was just nailed in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle by Identity Thief. He was disappointing in the Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham on New Year's Day but will be dropped in class and trip at Kelso. Anthony Bromley, racing manager for owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede said: "Top Notch will go for the Morebattle next. "It's a slight drop in class and the trip should suit him."
