Success for top-weight Themis in the concluding Private Suites At Limerick Racecourse Handicap gave Joseph O'Brien his fourth winner at the meeting and completed a treble for Dylan Browne McMonagle.

In the colours of the trainer’s mother Annemarie, the strong 7/4 favourite shot clear with over a furlong to race and ran out a four-length winner from Henry de Bromhead’s 2/1 shot Maxminelli

Themis had won her maiden by four and a quarter lengths over the same course and distance, but on soft ground, last month.

Dylan Browne McMonagle said, “She's going the right way. It just took her a couple of runs to get the hang of things.

“She was always a nice worker as a two-year-old and she had a little setback. She's come back this year and she's done nothing but improve. Hopefully she's not done yet.”
