Topadee storms home

Topadee ran away with the first division of the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap at Tipperary under Danny Benson.

Pat Flynn 's charge came with a strong run to lead a furlong-and-a-half from home and soon settled matters.

The Golan filly stretched clear in good style inside the final furlong to score by four-and-a-half lengths at 14/1. Acushladear ran on to claim second from 11/8 favourite Naked Cowboy

"I thought she would win at Wexford the last day but they watered and she got caught in a few soft patches," revealed Flynn.

"I thought she was near enough a certainty then. She did it well today."
