Tosca No Candis (10/3) was victorious in the Irish EBF Auction Series Fillies Maiden for jockey Donagh O’Connor.

The daughter of Blue Point was a barrier trial winner and has been thrown into deep water with two stakes race runs under her belt, where she was not disgraced.

Back in calmer waters today, she showed her class with a 3/4-length victory over the 15/8 favourite Crayons In The Sky

She travelled well on the front end and, when asked to go on and extend, she battled well to gain victory.

"She's a really nice filly and she's still weak. Good to get her a win today, but she still has a lot to improve," said winning trainer Robson Aguiar.

"We will go a mile, and she will strengthen day by day.

"She won over six furlongs today and I think in that company she can do six, but she is definitely a miler.

"She loved the surface, she has travelled well and she has finished strongly."
