Tote Ireland and Betfair enter partnership BETFAIR and Tote Ireland have announced an agreement that will make Irish Tote Pool betting available to customers of the world's leading betting exchange. The partnership, which officially launches today, will see the full suite of Irish Tote products made available to the 2.1 million registered customers of Betfair worldwide. Betfair customers will now be able to bet directly into the Irish Tote's pools on all markets including Tote Win, Place & Each Way, Tote Forecast, Tote Trio and the Tote Jackpot and Placepot using the funds in their Betfair account. All winnings will be credited back to the customer's Betfair account and will not be subject to Betfair commission, although customers will earn Betfair Points on Irish Tote bets. Betfair has already launched similar successful partnerships with the UK and Australian Totes. Alexis Murphy, Tote Ireland Chief Executive, commented: "Tote pools offer unique products and features which should be highly appealing to Betfair customers. In consequence, we anticipate this agreement will further enhance liquidity in the Tote's pools and help us further increase our contribution to Irish racing."
