Tote Ireland have announced the addition of South African Racing into their growing International Pools range.

Betting on horses is very popular amongst the South Africans and this is demonstrated clearly by the substantial pool sizes – between €5,000 and €10,000 per pool, per race. Tote Ireland will launch a range of bet types to customers including win, place, exacta, trifecta and the double which all attract very lucrative pools.

Later this year Tote will expand the range to include Pick 4 and Pick 6 which have average pool sizes of between €50,000 - €120,000.

Tim Higgins, Chief Executive of Tote Ireland said, “We are delighted to expand Tote's product folio to give customers more choice and access to larger pools.”

This Saturday 30th March, the Classic Meeting will take place at Turffontein featuring the 2 million Rand (€168,405) South African Classic (Grade 1) and the 1 million Rand South African Fillies Classic (Grade 1) - both for 3 year olds over 1800m.

These races form the second leg of the South African Triple Crown and South African Triple Tiara. The other major race on the day is the 1 million Rand Horse Chestnut Stakes (Grade 1) - an open WFA contest over 1600m. In addition to these three Grade 1's there are 5 other supporting feature races on the day.

To celebrate the launch Tote are offering 10% back on all Exacta and Trifecta bets for South African racing as well as the Dubai World Cup meeting on Saturday. All races will be streamed live on the Tote website – www.thetote.com

There are lots of fixtures to keep Tote customers busy; South Africa has racing 364 days per annum with 444 meetings per year and amongst them 100 graded races.

Tote customers can bet on the new South African racing products as well as action from Dubai, the UK and Ireland online, on mobile, on track and through the Tote call centre.
