Townend has his Questions Answered

Jockey Paul Townend warmed up for his ride on Arbor Supreme in the Aintree Grand National on April 9 when completing a double on the Eric McNamara trained Questions Answered in the featured Grade C Easter Handicap Hurdle at Cork today.

Townend, successful in unusual circumstances in the opening race on Sweet My Lord , doubled up on Questions Answered, which traveled handsomely throughout and won well, by two and a half lengths, in taking style.

Trainer Eric McNamara “Questions Answered is a smashing horse and should make a really nice chaser next season.”

He added “he is only a five year old but has already won three times and although he may have one more run at Punchestown, he'll then be left off for the summer.”
