Trabolgan Suffers Injury Blow Trabolgan is facing an 'uncertain' future after meeting with a further problem which could keep him on the sidelines for another spell.Nicky Henderson's charge has not been seen on the track for nearly two years, having suffered an injury to a tendon in his near-fore leg following a brilliant win in the 2005 Hennessy Gold Cup.Henderson and members of owner Trevor Hemmings' team have carefully brought the nine-year-old back to full fitness but a routine scan revealed a shadow on his off-fore tendon.'We have gone about this almost prematurely, but with ante-post betting and competitions going on, we wanted to explain the situation,' said Henderson.'We don't really know where we are as this is not the same leg as before and is very discreet, but the camera never lies as they say.'It was just a year ago when we were scanning him when something came up and we had to stop him again.'We have not made any decisions as it is very early days, but it does mean his future is a bit uncertain.'We're very disappointed, but it is not just about us, it is about Mr Hemmings, his racing manager Mick Meagher, the team in Chorley, Sarah Shreeve who looks after him, as there are not many horses like him around.'I am also sorry for anyone who has backed him, or put his name down in competitions.'(C) PA Sport
