The forecast is for rain in all areas today, clearing later, with mainly dry weather tomorrow. The ground at Down Royal, who also race tomorrow evening, is good to firm as well. The other northern track, Downpatrick, races next Tuesday and the going there is also good to firm. Watering has commenced at Fairyhouse ahead of their fixture next Wednesday with the ground currently firm. Tipperary race on the Thursday and the ground is also firm there.
