Tranquil on target for hat-trick bid Tranquil Sea will bid to land the Clonmel Oil Chase for the third successive year when reappearing in the seasonal highlight at Powerstown Park on Thursday 15th November. Trainer Edward O’Grady has confirmed the ten-year-old, winner of 12 races in total including the Paddy Power Chase at Cheltenham), on target for the two and a half mile event. Clonmel manager DJ Histon said, “We are delighted that Tranquil Sea and his connections are planning a return visit to Powerstown Park on November 15th. "He will be attempting to win three Clonmel Oil Steeplechases in-a-row which would be a marvellous achievement.
