Treacy ponders options for County runner-up Willie Treacy has races at Aintree and Punchestown in mind for Fethard Player after he finished a fine second in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham. The nine-year-old belied his odds of 33-1, finishing just two and a half lengths behind Superb Story. Fethard Player may now return to Aintree for the same two-mile handicap hurdle in which he finished second last season - only to be disqualified for having returned a banned substance. Treacy said: "He is grand, there is not a bother on him. "We were over the moon with him and we were hoping he'd run well. We were kind of throwing him in at the deep end. "It'll depend on the ground now as to where he will go. "The Aintree race would kind of be the obvious race to go for, if things work out. We will enter him there and see what will happen. "He went up 4lb for the other day, which wasn't too bad. There will probably be a couple of options for him at Punchestown, too, and we will probably look at there as well."
