Treve's work delights Head-Maarek

Trainer Criquette Head-Maarek felt French superstar Treve oozed positivity in a routine piece of work on Monday morning.

The five-year-old mare made an uplifting seasonal debut in the Prix Corrida at Saint-Cloud late last month as she takes aim at an unprecedented third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe victory in the autumn.

Treve's next assignment is in the Group One Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on June 28.

Head-Maarek said: "The champ is very well and looks in great form, never better.

"She had a little canter (on Monday morning) and there were no problems - she looked perfect.

"She is all set for Saint-Cloud."
