Treve is having "an easy few weeks" before her build-up to a third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe gathers momentum.

Trainer Criquette Head-Maarek admits this season has been far less nerve-racking than last with her stable star.

After being unbeaten at two and three, she suffered defeats in the Prix Ganay and at Royal Ascot in 2014, as well as in the Prix Vermeille, before bouncing back to her brilliant best to win a second Arc.

This time around, after a decision to retire her was reversed, things have gone far more to plan with two easy wins at Saint-Cloud, and history beckons if she can claim an unprecedented third Arc at Longchamp on October 4.

"Everything is fine with Treve," said Head-Maarek.

"She's having an easy few weeks before we bring her back for the Vermeille (at Longchamp on September 13).

"Everything is more relaxed than last year, we seemed to spend most of that looking for what was wrong.

"She has done everything right, she's very switched off at home but when she gets to the races, she knows what is required.

"Physically she looks perfect."
