Trip To Goodwood next up for Paris Trip To Paris could bid for further staying glory in the Qatar Goodwood Cup later this month. Ed Dunlop's charge sprung a minor surprise when winning the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, graduating from a Ripon handicap win and Chester Cup success to claim Group One honours. While the Goodwood Cup is a Group Two in which Trip To Paris would have to shoulder a penalty, Dunlop believes the July 30 event could be a good opportunity for the four-year-old. He said: "Trip To Paris is very fresh and you would not think he's just won a Gold Cup. "I think we will go to Goodwood now for the Goodwood Cup. He does have a penalty to carry, but there is good money there and it's now under consideration."
