Trip may be short for Sesenta Willie Mullins admits the trip may be on the short side for Sesenta as she has her first run since Royal Ascot in the Arthur's Day Handicap at Galway on Friday. The five-year-old, also a talented hurdler, won a valuable event at the Curragh on her penultimate start before going down by just half a length to Judgethemoment in the Ascot Stakes. She drops back a mile in trip for Friday's feature and the combination of this and the fact the mare has the burden of top weight is giving Mullins cause for concern. "Everything has been fine with her since Ascot and the ground will suit her well, but she does have plenty of weight," said Mullins. "My other worry would be the trip, as it might be short enough for her - especially with the amount of weight we have. "She is very well and hopefully she'll do the business." Sean Treacy's Taralga comes here in a rich vein of form, having won her last two starts. The County Carlow handler is hoping for another bold show. "She's been progressing since we got her and she's also maturing and getting stronger all the time," said Treacy. "She's becoming a nice little earner for us and it would be the icing on the cake if she could win again on Friday. "She's got a bad draw, but there are only 13 runners. Hopefully she can break quickly and find a nice position for herself. "She's well in herself and I don't think the ground is going to be a big bother to her one way or another."
