Trip worries for Boston

Jessica Harrington believes Sunday's Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown is the ideal stepping stone for her recent Grade One winner Bostons Angel.

The seven-year-old battled through the mud to land the Fort Leney Novice Chase at the track over three miles in December.

Harrington believes the drop in trip will be a slight inconvenience this weekend but she is keen to get another run into her charge before he heads to the spring Festivals.

"The trip could be a little bit short for him but it's his natural progression to come for this race - it's where he should be going. There'll be a good strong pace and all going well on Sunday, he could go for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham," said the trainer.
