Aidan O'Brien's Truly Enchanting begins her campaign in the Listed Goffs Irish EBF Polonia Stakes at Cork this evening over a trip that the trainer feels should be ideal for her.

Winner of two of her three races as a juvenile, including when last seen in the Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes at the Curragh in June, she returns over an extended five-furlongs in this heat.

Among her rivals is the 113-rated Babouche who has a Group 1 victory under her belt, and First Instinct who has travelled across the Irish Sea from William Haggas' yard. She has the benefit of a third-place effort in Listed class at Bath this season and has been the subject of early support.

O'Brien said: “That’s her trip, she’s quick.

"Whether first time out she’ll know enough - but she’s a fast filly.

"Hopefully, she runs well.”

Truly Enchanting holds a plethora of Group 1 entries including in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in June.
