Tsar Paul makes Kempton trip Dundalk regular Tsar Paul makes his first trip outside of Ireland at the age of 11 when he tackles the Robert Dyas Handicap at Kempton on Wednesday. Curragh trainer James Nash makes a rare visit to the UK having spotted a nice opportunity for the veteran performer in the seven-furlong contest confined to horses rated 45-50. It's also just the second ride in Britain for Ana O'Brien, daughter of Ballydoyle maestro Aidan, who has ridden Tsar Paul on his last 34 runs. The Xaar gelding has won five times, including twice for O'Brien, but has not scored since December 2014. "He's been struggling over here mainly because of the draws he's been getting," said Nash. "He's been drawn over 12 on six of his last seven runs. Besides that it's such a low grade, obviously it's lower than we have over here. "I thought it looked like an opportunity that maybe we wouldn't have got at home and it's too good to miss. "He's been running OK from bad draws at Dundalk. Obviously he's fairly exposed, but this is still a drop in grade and as easy a race as he's had for a while. "Ana hasn't ridden a winner in England and obviously it would be great for her and for the horse if they managed to win."
