The Harzand filly appeared to have a bit to do when Bacharach quickened a few lengths clear on the home turn, but Adam Ryan soon had the move covered. The 11/8 favourite struck the front over 150 yards out and kept on strongly to score by four and a half lengths. Time For Talking, whose rider Eoin O’Brien lost an iron for a while earlier in the race, finished a further three and a half lengths back in third. Ryan said, “I was always confident that we'd pick up the one in front. We couldn't see her getting beaten today. "She liked the ground, but she worked during the winter on softer ground, so I'd say she's versatile." Owner/breeder Dr Ronan Tynan, who treated racegoers and Racing TV viewers to a verse of 'Summertime’, added: “It's great. When a singer starts to shout her on, like I did, you soon lose your support! "I foaled her myself. I said I'd only have five mares max, but now I have ten! "I'd like to go to Galway, but team Slattery want her to have a break, so we'll see.
