Unanswered landed a nice touch for connections when getting up late to win the Racing Again May 26th Handicap at Limerick.

Available at 25/1 in places when betting opened, the Tony Martin trained gelding was well supported down to 13/2 at the off.

Victory looked unlikely for much of the race, as the gelding was slowly away and ran in snatches. Turning for home he still looked to have it all to do but Ben Coen was strong in the saddle as the pair swept down the outside.

The winning rider was completing a treble on the afternoon.

Wining trainer Tony Martin said; "he promises and has shown a lot but it is immaturity with him and he has had a lot of niggly problems.

"He has ran over hurdles and is what he is, an upside-down handicapper. One day you win, the next day you don't."
