Unfortunate Campeador Ready For Action Gordon Elliott is keen to get Campeador back in action in the not-too-distant future after fortune deserted him at Fairyhouse earlier this month. The four-year-old grey was in pole position to make a winning seasonal debut in a two-mile handicap hurdle, only to fall at the final flight with the race at his mercy. Campeador also fell on his penultimate outing, when he came unstuck in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival. "He's a very unfortunate horse," said Elliott. "It looked like he was going to win at Fairyhouse last time but he fell. He was fine afterwards, but you never know how they are after that happens. "He's in good form and we're looking forward to getting him out again."
