Usher Keen On Alchemist's Chance

Mark Usher says the likely soft ground at the Curragh this weekend should be right up Royal Alchemist's street when she contests the Ridgewood Pearl Stakes.

The four-year-old filly has been consistent this season winning a Listed race at Kempton before finishing second in a Group Three contest at Newmarket.

'All things being equal she will definitely run at the Curragh,' said Usher. 'The ground should be no bother to her and she is in terrific form.

'She is in great heart and I think the stiff mile and the soft ground should be right up her street.'
