Ustedes Takes King Test Connections of Voy Por Ustedes have earmarked the Kingmaker Novices´ Chase at Warwick on February 11 as a stepping-stone to the Arkle Challenge Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival. The five-year-old has shown himself a worthy candidate for top honours with two of his three victories over fences coming at Warwick. However, connections are mindful the gelding will have to run well in the Kingmaker to earn his place at the big meeting in March. Barry Simpson, racing manager to owner Sir Robert Ogden, said: 'The intention is to go for the Arkle if he´s good enough and the Kingmaker is traditionally a very good trial for Cheltenham. 'The intention is to give him one more run beforehand and as he has three penalties we are looking at another trip to Warwick and nothing else.' Simpson takes the view that Voy Por Ustedes will benefit from running on a more galloping track in the Arkle and he added: 'He´s not over-big but he´s a very accurate jumper.' ? PA Sport
