Vahorimix awarded dramatic Marois Andre Fabre`s Vahorimix landed a dramatic Prix du Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard Jacques le Marois at Deauville today.German raider Proudwings, winner of the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket, passed the post first in the Group One contest but was disqualified and placed last by the stewards.She was ruled to have interfered with Vahorimix`s stablemate Banks Hill, drifting across the track and bumping her rival.Godolphin`s Noverre finished fourth under Frankie Dettori but was promoted to third in the one-mile contest.Amazingly, Vahorimix was also the beneficiary when Noverre was disqualified from first place in the French 2000 Guineas when a banned substance was found in his urine.Earlier, there was joy for the British raiders when Red Briar, under Richard Hughes, won the Prix du Haras de la Huderie, a Listed race, for trainer Michael Bell.The horse was completing a hat-trick after scoring at Doncaster and Hamilton.
