Allegorie De Vassy looked another smart recruit for Willie Mullins when running out an easy winner of the mares hurdle on her Irish debut at Fairyhouse this afternoon.

The French-import went to post a 4/7 shot in the two-mile-two contest and tracked the leaders under Sean O'Keeffe.

She moved up to challenge turning for home and jumped to the front at the penultimate flight.

The daughter of No Risk At All was big and bold when going clear at the last and went on to post an impressive 11-length success over Monishter Are Mwee

Assistant David Casey said:- “She's a grand big mare and she'll be a great mare to jump fences, the size of her.

“Sean said it was pretty straight-forward, she jumped brilliant. She had been working well at home and on her French ratings she was thrown in. She had all that experience coming from France.

“She's one that we think will improve away and she's definitely a nice mare to look forward to.”

Allegorie De Vassy was cut from 20/1 to 12/1 for the mares' novices' hurdle at Cheltenham by Paddy Power.
