Johannes Vermeer features among a total of 21 entries in the Betfred Dante Stakes at York for trainer Aidan O'Brien.

The Galileo colt was second in the Racing Post Trophy before landing the Group One Criterium International at Saint-Cloud.

He could be joined by stablemates Landofhopeandglory and the unraced US Army Ranger, while Breeders' Cup Turf winner Hit It A Bomb also features among the 88 entries for the major Investec Derby trial.

Jim Bolger has four runners entered, headed by Moonlight Magic, who struck in Listed company at Leopardstown last year, and Tribal Beat, second to Blue De Vega in a Group Three at the Foxrock venue.

Foundation is clear second favourite at 12-1 for the premier Classic at Epsom after a successful two-year-old career that saw him land the Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket and finish third in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster and also features in the York list.

Foundation is trained by John Gosden, who sent out Golden Horn to take this Group Two contest on the way to glory at Epsom.

Sir Michael Stoute's Midterm, who currently heads the Derby betting on the back of winning his only start so far at Newbury in October, is among the 88 entries.

Others in a stellar entry include Godolphin's Champagne Stakes victory Emotionless, Gimcrack hero Ribchester and Gosden's highly promising colt Royal Artillery.
