Voler & Quevega set for Punchestown clash Top mares Quevega and Voler La Vedette remain on course to clash at Punchestown after featuring among 18 entries for the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle on April 26th. The Willie Mullins-trained Quevega has won the three-mile contest for the past two seasons and heads to Punchestown on the back of a record fourth victory in the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham. Voler La Vedette goes to Punchestown after arguably her best ever performance when finishing a close second to Big Buck's in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Prestbury Park last month. The sponsors make Quevega the even-money favourite to come out on top, with Colm Murphy's Voler La Vedette a 3-1 shot. The Jessica Harrington-trained Oscars Well looks set to step up in trip for the three-mile contest, while other contenders include Quevega's stablemate Thousand Stars and Jonjo O'Neill's Get Me Out Of Here.
